Job Description
The Personal Banker will be responsible for creating and managing customer relationships to drive portfolio growth and minimize client attrition. The role requires proactive sourcing of new business opportunities in collaboration with the sales team, ensuring full compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, cross-selling a variety of bank products and services, managing loan applications, and providing timely customer service. The successful candidate will also generate reports, monitor account performance, and ensure resolution of customer complaints in a professional manner.

How to Apply
Develop and manage client relationships and personal banking portfolios.
Identify and source new personal banking business opportunities.
Adhere to KYC and AML policies and procedures.
Cross-sell bank products including loans, deposits, and digital banking services.
Initiate and process personal loan applications with sound underwriting practices.
Prepare and submit periodic performance and compliance reports.
Conduct sales calls and collect market intelligence.
Monitor account activity including overdrawn, inactive, dormant, and zero-balance accounts.
Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and update the complaints register.
Manage daily branch budget and portfolio performance.
Ensure proper risk profiling of clients.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in sales or customer relationship management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Key Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Sales and marketing acumen.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Knowledge of banking products and procedures.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Strong understanding of financial compliance and risk management.
