Job Description
The Partnerships and Relationships Manager is responsible for initiating, developing, and maintaining strategic partnerships with Faith-Based Organizations, Government Entities, and Private Businesses. This role is crucial for expanding Channel 44 TV's outreach, influence, and resources through meaningful collaborations, all within the framework of the station's Christian mission. The manager will focus on creating new opportunities for engagement, support, and content development that resonate with our audience and community values.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and Develop Strategic Partnerships: Proactively build relationships with government agencies, NGOs, private businesses, and faith-based organizations that align with our mission and values. Research and identify potential partners, initiating discussions to explore collaboration opportunities.
Negotiate and Structure Win-Win Partnership Agreements: Negotiate terms and structure agreements for sponsorships, co-productions, content collaborations, and other arrangements that are mutually beneficial. Ensure that all partnerships are designed to deliver on the shared goals of increasing viewership, engagement, and revenue.
Maintain and Nurture Existing Partnerships: Keep open lines of communication with all partners, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring that collaborations are fulfilling their intended objectives. Regularly review partnership outcomes and work with partners to optimize and enhance collaboration efforts.
Represent the Station at Industry Events and Conferences: Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and forums to network with key decision-makers, explore new partnership opportunities, and stay informed about industry trends and regulations.
Develop and Implement Partnership Strategies: Create and execute strategic plans for partnership initiatives, aligning them with the station's overall business objectives, content strategy, and mission. Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
Develop Co-Branded Content and Initiatives: Collaborate with partners to develop engaging, co-branded content and initiatives that resonate with our audience and advance our mission. Coordinate with the content production team to ensure alignment and integration of co-branded content into our programming.
Measure and Track the Success of Partnerships: Utilize data analytics to assess the impact of partnerships on key performance indicators, such as viewership, engagement, and revenue. Adjust partnership strategies based on performance data and feedback to maximize effectiveness.
Stay Informed About Industry Trends and Regulations: Keep abreast of industry developments, trends, and regulatory changes that may affect partnerships, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
Contribute to Proposals and Presentations: Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for potential and existing partners, showcasing the value and impact of collaborations with the station.
Collaborate with other Departments: Work closely with marketing, programming, and production teams to ensure that partnership activities are aligned with and support the station's broader objectives.

Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in partnership management, community outreach, or a related role, ideally within a media, nonprofit, or faith-based setting.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, advertising strategies, and faith-based content.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a faith-based community.
Strategic and analytical thinker with a proactive approach.
