How to Apply
Design and implement cybersecurity awareness plans to educate stakeholders, including UCC staff, communication service providers, government agencies, and the general public, on cybersecurity best practices, threats, and mitigation strategies.
Organise training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance cybersecurity knowledge and skills among UCC employees and external stakeholders.
Develop educational materials such as brochures, posters, online resources, and training modules to disseminate cybersecurity information effectively and reach a wide audience across various communication channels.
Support cybersecurity awareness campaigns and programs to raise awareness about emerging cyber threats, promote cybersecurity hygiene, and encourage proactive measures to protect against cyber-attacks and data breaches.
Provide training on various cyber security procedures including incident response procedures and protocols to ensure stakeholders are prepared to respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents.
Promote adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines established by the Commission and other regulatory authorities, and ensuring stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities.
Collaborate with industry partners, government agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to leverage resources, share best practices, and coordinate efforts in promoting cybersecurity awareness.
Maintain flexibility to accommodate any other duties assigned by the line supervisor from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators
Cybersecurity awareness plans, campaigns and programs designed and implemented.
Training sessions, workshops, and seminars organised.
Educational materials developed.
Compliance levels with cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
Professional cybersecurity certification and membership in a recognised security body is an added advantage.
Working Experience
Minimum of two (2) years in designing, implementing, and evaluating cybersecurity awareness programs, workshops, and educational materials aimed at diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge in graphics design, animations and visual Effects, video production, or related is an added advantage.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Technical
Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Knowledge of cybersecurity training tools and simulation platforms.
A good understanding of instructional design methodologies.
Understanding of threat landscape and common cyber threats.
Familiarity with relevant standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, information risk management methods and relevant Cyber laws
Graphic Design, animations and video production skills

Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
