Job Description
The Office Assistant will provide operational and administrative support to the firm, including financial tracking, client follow-up, market research, and coordination of events and trainings. The role involves working with Google Workspace tools, maintaining accurate business records, assisting in business development initiatives, and supporting research for publications and advisory services. This position requires an organized and tech-savvy individual who can work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Financial & Operations Support
Assist with preparation of monthly billing reports and revenue projections
Track the firm’s incoming work pipeline and update deal flow status
Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely payments
Draft budgets and assist with monthly cash flow planning
Client Management & Business Development
Follow up with prospective clients through calls, emails, or WhatsApp
Maintain an updated client follow-up tracker
Support with client onboarding tasks (contracts, documentation)
Assist in developing business proposals and pitch decks
Conduct basic market research to identify new client opportunities
Research & Publications
Conduct research to support publications and articles (laws, cases, current affairs)
Summarize key information for content writing and insights
Scheduling & Coordination
Schedule meetings, trainings, and follow up with attendees
Prepare training/event schedules and checklists
Coordinate logistics for in-person or online trainings/events
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Degree (or pursuing one) in Law, Business, Finance, Administration, or related field
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets)
Strong organizational and written communication skills
Trustworthy and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role is an advantage
