Job Title:  Financial Literacy Trainer/Educator Mass Market – 3 Positions

Job Summary: 

The Financial Literacy Trainer/Educator supports the Manager in implementing strategic initiatives and provides key insights and guidance on financial literacy, wealth management, and engagement programs for recruits and members of the Fund.

How to Apply

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Program Implementation:

  • Develop classroom handouts, instructional materials, and manuals.

  • Conduct training needs analysis and translate into a domesticated solution for each unique audience

  • Participate in the design and tracking of strategic plans for the section.

  • Engage with stakeholders to facilitate departmental and organizational objectives.

  • Design and deliver financial literacy content and products relevant to target audiences.

Training Management:

  • Identify from the universal frame audiences for training

  • Determine training method, mode and delivery for the different unique cohorts

  • Customised training for the participants

  • Facilitate financial literacy training and workshops and meetings on radio, TV, newspapers, and other forums.

  • Contribute to implementing milestones outlined in the general financial literacy strategy.

  • Facilitate annual calendar activities as laid out by strategy stakeholders.

  • Identify training needs and translate requirements into effective training programs.

  • Develop and deliver training courses, both physical and online.

  • Facilitate financial literacy training and workshops across various platforms.

Monitoring and evaluation

  • Collect and maintain data points on the performance of programs, participants and industry and provide routine reports as specified

  • Implement mass personalisation and engagement for sensitised membership and the public.

  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques.

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Sciences, Business, Communications, or related field.

  • Training or certification in financial literacy, adult learning, or community engagement is an added advantage.

Work Experience:

  • Five (5) years of relevant experience with at least two (2) years at a supervisory level

  • A complete professional qualification is an added advantage

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in training facilitation or program delivery.

Key Competences:

  • Experience designing and delivering content for diverse audiences across various platforms.

  • Skilled in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on training outcomes.

  • Proven ability to engage and motivate large or diverse participant groups.

  • Training design and facilitation

  • Audience engagement and motivation

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Stakeholder collaboration

  • Program monitoring and evaluation

  • Digital literacy for training delivery
