Job Description
The Nursery Teacher will design and implement classroom activities that stimulate children’s learning and development. This role requires ensuring safety, delivering age-appropriate educational programs, supervising learners, and supporting their overall development. The teacher will also work collaboratively with school management to implement curriculum and maintain discipline while providing a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and prepare classroom settings.
Oversee safety and educational programs for learners.
Supervise and support learners during class activities.
Provide a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Facilitate learners’ cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a supportive environment.
Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Conduct related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Possession of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is an added advantage.
At least 1 year of experience handling nursery classes.

Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for learners.
Ability to design and implement effective teaching methodologies.
Strong interpersonal, persuasive, and communication skills.
Ability to provide activities that promote learners’ healthy growth and development.
