Job Description
The international Paediatric Nurse is responsible for the supervision, training, and collaboration with national staff in clinics and wards. They work alongside the local team under the direction of the Medical Coordinator, ensuring quality care across triage, outpatient, ward, and neonatology units. The role includes organizing local staff shifts, being on-call for emergencies, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols, and participating in clinical research and record keeping.
Assignments to specific departments (triage, outpatient, ward, neonatology) are based on the candidate’s skills and experience. Nurses work 5–6 days a week and provide 24/7 emergency support when needed.

How to Apply
Manage paediatric and neonatal nursing care autonomously.
Supervise and mentor national nursing staff.
Handle paediatric triage and emergency management.
Provide nursing care in paediatric wards and Level II Neonatal ICUs (Afghanistan only).
Care for cardiopathic patients requiring INR checks, therapy, or follow-up.
Assist in clinical research and maintain detailed records.
Organize staff shifts to ensure 24/7 nursing coverage.
Ensure compliance with EMERGENCY’s clinical protocols, guidelines, and admission criteria.

Degree in Nursing (or equivalent Diploma) and current registration in country of residence.
Minimum of 5 years’ continuous professional experience in Paediatrics or Neonatology.
Ability to work in challenging environments and multicultural teams.
Strong organizational and training skills.
Commitment to a 6-month overseas stay (with leave at the end).
