Job Description
The Nitrogen Pump Operator will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of nitrogen pumping units during field operations. The role involves ensuring all equipment functions correctly, following safety and operational procedures, and coordinating with the service team to support the success of oilfield jobs. The position requires hands-on technical knowledge, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform under pressure in challenging environments.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Operate nitrogen pumping units safely and efficiently on site.
Monitor system pressures, temperatures, and flow rates during operations.
Maintain and inspect nitrogen equipment before, during, and after jobs.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on pumping equipment.
Ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
Coordinate with engineers and field personnel to execute planned services.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions during operations.
Complete job documentation, including operation logs and service reports.
Participate in pre-job safety meetings and adhere to all HSE requirements.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Process Operations, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating nitrogen pumping equipment in oilfield services.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong understanding of nitrogen pumping systems and components.
Familiarity with oilfield operations and safety practices.
Ability to work in remote and high-pressure environments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities.
