Responsible for tracking and monitoring status and location of the complete inventory of non-expendable property, working with all sixteen ICASS agencies and all GSO sections to insure the integrity and safekeeping of USG property and reviewing in-coming/out-going reports.

Review Coordination: They coordinate the review process for NEPA documents, including distributing drafts for internal and external review, collecting feedback from stakeholders, and incorporating comments into final versions of documents.
Data Collection and Analysis: NEPA Control Clerks may assist in collecting and analyzing data related to environmental impact assessments, including gathering information on natural resources, land use, air quality, water quality, and other environmental factors.
Regulatory Compliance: They ensure that NEPA-related activities and documents comply with regulatory requirements and agency policies. This may involve staying informed about updates to NEPA regulations and guidance documents and implementing changes as needed.
Coordination with Stakeholders: NEPA Control Clerks liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, regulatory agencies, consultants, and the public, to facilitate communication and collaboration throughout the NEPA process.
Administrative Support: They provide administrative support to NEPA project teams, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and meeting materials, taking meeting minutes, and coordinating logistics for public hearings or comment periods.
Quality Assurance: NEPA Control Clerks ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of NEPA documents, verifying that they address all required elements and meet established standards for quality and clarity.
