To Assist Chief Motorman for the inspection, use and maintenance of Cat diesel engines, emergency generators, air compressors, all engine (fire pumps, tower lights, battery pumps, etc.) equipment on the rig site.
Under leadership Chief mechanic, strictly follow all regulations and requirement of equipment management of the company.
Check and make sure that equipment management standards are strictly followed by rig crew.
Operate, check, and maintain engines and generators, emergency generators, generators at main camp, firefighting pumps, air compressor of SCBA, diesel welding machines, tailor mounted light unit, diesel engine driven water pumps.
Inspect, check, and calibrate the equipment in charge on regular basis and solve the problems found.
Inspect and verify the spare parts for equipment in charge for stock-in received on rig site.
Sort out the spare parts and material in warehouse he is in charge and establish the vouchers. Have good housekeeping of the warehouse.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Cooperate with rig crew to complete other work assigned by management of Rig.

A diploma in mechanical engineering or its equivalent
Knowledge of oil and gas operations is an added advantage
Excellent communication skill
Teamwork
Good interpersonal skills
