What You’ll Bring to the Team
Education and Experience
A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, statistics, demography, international development, education policy) OR equivalent field-based experience
At least 5 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning—preferably within education, youth employment, or entrepreneurship programs
Minimum of 2 years coordinating both quantitative and qualitative research activities
Technical Expertise
Proven ability to design and implement performance monitoring plans, including the development of indicators
Experience developing and contextualizing MERL tools for:
Surveys, questionnaires, structured/semi-structured interviews
Focus group discussions and classroom observation tools
Deep understanding of data quality assurance from collection through to reporting
Hands-on experience with digital data collection tools and software such as:
KoboCollect, SurveyCTO, ODK
MS Excel, SPSS, Stata, NVivo
Skilled in programming digital surveys, training enumerators, cleaning data, and preparing clear, timely reports that support evidence-based decision-making
Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-cultural, multi-stakeholder environments
A collaborative mindset with the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic context
