Job Description
The Medical Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care including diagnosis, treatment, and emergency services at Stride Community Medical Clinic, supervising other staff. Key responsibilities involve inpatient ward rounds, emergency care, maternal/child health support, and support the Stride Community Health Insurance Scheme.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Diagnosing patients, performing minor surgical procedures (within competency), and managing inpatient/outpatient care.
- Supervision: Mentoring the team to enhance staff capacity.
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate patient records and analyzing health data to detect disease outbreaks.
- Health education and promotion.
- Participation in research programs
