Ensure close collaboration with the Production Manager to discuss maintenance schedules, report issues, and provide updates on machine status.
Develop and maintain electrical and electronic systems, encompassing instrumentation, control systems and industrial automation.
Design and test electronic circuits and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to electrical and electronic systems, including PLC, APC, DCS, and SCADA.
Test solid–state circuitry to identify and replace defective components in analogue and digital equipment.
Design and modify motor power control apparatus circuits.
Interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed systems, including equipment selection.
Budget Management: Overseeing the budget for maintenance and repair activities, ensuring expenditures are within allocated limits including but not limited to;
Expenditures: Authorizing the purchase of necessary electronic components and tools within the set budget.
Cost Efficiency: Identifying cost-saving opportunities in maintenance procedures without compromising quality and safety.
Reporting. Document and process reports on all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, findings of the diagnostic tests and downtimes.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution of higher learning.
Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering principles and techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
