In Uganda, we are proud to be a part of this dynamic team and are currently seeking a Manufacturing Clerk to join our operations in Kampala.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Planning Scheduler, the Manufacturing Clerk plays a vital role in supporting production operations by coordinating workflow, managing inventory, tracking materials, and maintaining compliance with internal systems and standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Interpret production schedules to identify daily and weekly manufacturing needs.
Monitor and control packaging materials and finished goods to ensure proper storage and movement.
Enter production data accurately and promptly into business systems.
Manage digital tax stamp activations and system updates (MSD).
Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile materials usage to minimize variances.
Compile and submit reports on production KPIs, packaging performance, material consumption, and finished goods transfers.
Ensure strict adherence to company systems including quality, food safety (FSSC), and Coca-Cola operational standards.
Support continuous improvement by implementing and promoting supply chain best practices.
Immediately report any concerns that may affect product quality or food safety.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Business Administration, International Business, Procurement, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a planning or manufacturing role within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
Key Competencies
Strong knowledge of compliance, governance, and ethics.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly detail-oriented with solid analytical and organizational abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
Working knowledge of MSD module and statistical analysis tools.
Assertive, inquisitive, and proactive in identifying process improvements.
Customer service focused and results-driven.
