Liaise with all stakeholders to identify the Authority’s design needs and produce design specifications that meet client requirements.

Plan and design the City’s physical infrastructure, including rezoning and land subdivision, and prepare guidelines for implementation.

Prepare guidelines and coordinate the implementation of the City Master Plans.

Manage staff performance and development within the Directorate.

Manage and coordinate activities and programs of the Authority’s Development Partners.

Provide technical and professional advice on public infrastructure facility requirements and prepare physical development plans.

Develop strategies and implement City zoning and land utilization plans.

Monitor adherence to construction standards across the City.

Prepare terms of reference for development plans and monitor the preparation of city settlement development plans and detailed layout plans.

Develop strategies to ensure that implementation of legal provisions and policy instruments relating to development control conforms to approved plans.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
