Technical Support Specialist – Car Logbook Sales Job at Mogo Uganda

Job Description
The Technical Support Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Car Logbook Sales function by providing expert technical assistance in vehicle valuation, GPS installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and general technical assessments. The role ensures accuracy in asset valuation, enhances vehicle monitoring capabilities, and supports smooth loan processing by ensuring all technical procedures are completed efficiently and professionally.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate vehicle inspections and valuations to support loan processing and decision-making.
- Install, configure, service, and replace GPS tracking systems on vehicles, Boda Bodas, and Tuk Tuks.
- Ensure proper functionality, security, and monitoring of installed tracking devices.
- Provide technical advice to the sales and operations teams regarding vehicle condition, valuation, and risks.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure minimal operational disruptions.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports on inspections, installations, and technical activities.
- Support customers by providing clear explanations, guidance, and professional assistance where required.
- Work closely with the Car Logbook Sales team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Uphold high ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in handling client information and company assets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
