Job Description
The Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in a timely manner.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, and control systems.
- Installs and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services in the factory
- Carry out preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment and Utilities.
- Maintain electrical spares and consumables required for smooth operation of plant.
- Maintain HT & LT electrical circuits of the plant.
- Maintain AMC records of utilities (DG, Compressor, Weigh Bridge, cranes).
- Ensure electrical safety in the plant.
- To work towards energy conservation.
- To participate in monthly stock taking.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain records of work performed, materials used and hours worked.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical systems and troubleshoot issues.
- And to carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
