Job Description
Job Title: Manager – MoMo Pay Formal
Organisation: MTN Mobile Money Uganda Limited
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Senior Manager – MoMo Pay
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the MoMo payments roadmap for formal segment (Group and Local FINCO).
Manage the MoMo payments roadmap for formal segment.
Drive MAU30 KPI through acquisitions and churn management.
Manage relationships with internal partners and third parties to scale the formal merchant’s growth opportunity.
Manage the end-to-end design of the formal merchants value propositions to ensure alignment target customer expectations.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective campaigns and promotions to drive business growth objectives.
Deliver effective key processes (e.g. onboarding, Liquidation etc) to scale formal merchant base per targets and SLA agreements.
Liaise with customer interfacing teams to resolve formal merchant complaints and put in place a framework for continuous improvement of the formal merchant proposition.
Work with internal stakeholders to monitor performance of existing products; cost effectiveness to drive healthy contributory margins and pricing to ensure product/service uptake and profitability.
Utilize data driven approach to deliver product, sector and insights and short to medium term plans.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Information technology, Commerce or any other related fields.
Proficient with MS applications especially Advanced excel, PowerPoint and any other tools for data visualization.
Digital finance certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
At least 5 years’ experience in sales, Marketing, Products Development, Customer experience related business or fintech.
Previous experience in payment system organisation will be an added advantage.
Demonstrated track record of execution and team supervision.
Exposed and able to break down strategy into plans and specific activities for teams.
Training:
Certification in digital money/digital finance
Project management
Advance excel and good analytical skills
