Logistics and Export Coordinator Job at Sukuma Commodities

Job Description
Schedule shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely delivery to international markets.
Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin) for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, including Incoterms and coffee-specific certifications (e.g.. Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance).
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Schedule shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely delivery to international markets.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin) for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, including Incoterms and coffee-specific certifications (e.g.. Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance).
- Work with sales, purchasing, warehousing teams, and external partners (producers, importers, shipping companies) to optimize logistics processes.
- Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain coffee quality standards during storage and transit.
- Generate reports on freight costs, shipment statuses, and customs compliance for stakeholders
- Address logistical challenges, such as delays or customs issues, with effective solutions to maintain supply chain efficiency.
