Job Description
Reporting to the Logbook Transfer Team Lead, the Logbook Transfer Officer will handle all stages of the logbook transfer process, including client communication, documentation verification, system updates, and liaison with regulatory authorities such as the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) and the Ministry of Works and Transport. The officer will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and submitting logbook transfer applications both physically and online, while ensuring compliance with URA requirements. The role also involves administrative support, client engagement, and close monitoring of logbook transfer cases to completion.

How to Apply
Contact clients to request and collect required documents for logbook transfers.
Receive, stamp, and sign transfer forms and related documents from dealers.
Register Tax Identification Numbers (TINs) for clients who do not have them.
Verify accuracy of transfer documents, including TIN, National ID, and cover letter details.
Prepare, scan, and submit logbook transfer applications online.
Update ERP system with both scanned and physical document statuses.
Submit physical documents to URA or the Ministry of Works and Transport.
Monitor URA portal for updates and track progress of submitted cases.
Review, stamp, and sign printed forms before final submission.
Perform other administrative tasks assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in any field.
1–2 years of experience in a call center role or logbook transfer processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to ride a motorcycle, preferably with a valid rider’s permit.
Results-oriented with strong planning, organizational, and reporting skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
