Job Description

The Lifting Coordinator is responsible for the safe planning, supervision, and execution of all lifting and hoisting operations within EACOP field sites, ensuring compliance with EACOP lifting procedures, international standards, and statutory regulations.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and execute all lifting and hoisting operations at EACOP field sites safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with EACOP lifting procedures, international standards (ISO, LEEA), and statutory regulations.
  • Conduct pre-lift planning, risk assessments, and prepare lifting plans for all critical lifts.
  • Inspect lifting equipment, rigging gear, and cranes for certification and fitness for purpose.
  • Supervise riggers, slinger-signallers, and crane operators during all lifting operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of lifting equipment inspections, certifications, and maintenance.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to site personnel on lifting safety.
