Job Description
The Lands, Urban Planning & Development Interns will assist county officers in activities related to land use planning, development control, and project implementation. They will participate in data collection, project monitoring, and reporting while supporting the preparation of planning documents and maps. The role provides graduates with an opportunity to acquire practical skills in land administration, project planning, and urban development within a government setting.

How to Apply
Assist in the preparation of land use plans and development projects.
Support data collection, analysis, and mapping for urban and regional planning.
Participate in monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects.
Provide support in drafting planning reports and documentation.
Work with technical staff to ensure compliance with planning standards and county policies.
Assist in community engagement sessions for planning and development activities.
Provide general administrative support to the Department of Lands and Urban Planning.
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Planning & Management from a recognized institution.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Basic knowledge of land management and urban planning principles.
Proficiency in computer applications (GIS knowledge is an added advantage).
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
