East & Central (LPHS-EC) is a project of Makerere Joint AIDS Program (MJAP) funded by USAID. MJAP's Mission is to build partnerships and strengthen Health Systems to optimally respond to HIV/AIDS, TB and other diseases of public health importance in Africa. Developing and implementing strategies for capturing, storing, and sharing organizational knowledge and information.
Creating and maintaining platforms and tools for knowledge management and communication, such as databases, intranets, websites, newsletters, social media, etc.
Facilitating and promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, such as staff, partners, donors, beneficiaries, etc.
Identifying and documenting best practices, lessons learned, success stories, and case studies from the organization's projects and programs.
Providing training and support to staff and partners on knowledge management and communication skills and tools.
Monitoring and evaluating the impact and effectiveness of knowledge management and communication activities and initiatives.
