Job Title: IT Sales Executive

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
We are looking for an experienced IT Sales Resource to join our team and help expand our impact through strategic IT sales. As an IT Sales Resource at SPIDD Africa Uganda, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our IT products and services. You will engage with clients, understand their unique challenges, and recommend tailored technology solutions that address their needs. This position requires someone with a solid background in IT sales and a passion for helping businesses thrive through technology.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Generate and qualify new sales opportunities in the IT sector, specifically for cloud services, software, and IT infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and recommend appropriate IT solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, prepare technical presentations, and create tailored proposals for potential clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure that solutions are implemented smoothly and meet client expectations.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to identify new sales opportunities.
Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of SPIDD Africa Uganda.
Provide ongoing post-sales support to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales, technical sales, or a related field.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in the IT industry.
Strong understanding of IT solutions such as cloud computing, software, IT infrastructure, and networking.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand and address customer challenges.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications in IT sales, cloud solutions, or IT infrastructure (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
