Job Description
The IT Operations Manager oversees the full systems development life cycle (SDLC), systems integration (core banking, digital channels, third parties), and infrastructure operations (servers, networks, storage, cloud). The role drives automation, upgrades, and performance optimization; manages backups, DR/BCP; strengthens cybersecurity per governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001); enforces IT policies and SOPs; manages vendors and SLAs; leads the helpdesk function; tracks KPIs (uptime, incidents, SLAs); maintains documentation; and coaches the IT team while aligning technology initiatives to business priorities.

How to Apply
Plan, develop, deploy, and continuously improve business-critical systems and applications.
Lead SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, support.
Implement/enforce IT policies, SOPs, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee integrations across digital banking, core applications, and third-party systems.
Ensure robust, scalable, high-performing infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud).
Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Identify and implement automation & technology upgrades for efficiency.
Monitor and uplift cybersecurity in line with governance and ISO 27001 principles.
Ensure data protection and privacy for client information.
Manage IT vendors: contracts, performance, SLAs.
Oversee helpdesk and technical support for timely incident/request resolution.
Research and recommend emerging technologies aligned to strategy.
Maintain comprehensive architecture/configuration/operations/change documentation.
Track and report IT KPIs: SLAs, uptime, incident response, availability.
Lead, coach, and develop the IT Operations team; foster service excellence and improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure IT enables business success.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years’ experience in IT support/operations (banking experience preferred).
Technical Skills
Clear understanding of Core Banking System (ICBS).
Database experience (preferably MySQL).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of IT security standards and data-protection principles.
Advantage: Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Python).
Core Competencies
Effective verbal/written communication; stakeholder management.
Works well under pressure; high quality standards.
High integrity, strong work ethic, and documentation discipline.
