Job Description
StarTimes Uganda is seeking a competent and experienced IT Manager to lead IT operations, focusing on systems integration, digital payment integration, and infrastructure management. The role involves overseeing third-party payment gateways and ensuring secure, efficient system performance across the head office and branches.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT operations across head office and branches
- Develop IT plans, budgets, policies, and service standards
- Ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT system performance
- Manage third-party payment integrations, including MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, banks, Interswitch, and other payment gateways
- Oversee APl integration, authentication, callback handling, reconciliation, and payment issue resolution
- Support system implementation, upgrades, testing, and go-live processes
- Manage IT security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and compliance
- Coordinate vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders
- Supervise IT support, user training, and troubleshooting activities
