Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, the IT Digital Officer installs and configures hardware/software, monitors systems and networks, and provides L2 support across departments (on-site and remote). The role troubleshoots incidents, manages users and access controls, supports implementation, testing and maintenance of digital banking/mobile apps, collaborates with vendors and internal teams on upgrades/integrations, keeps accurate technical documentation, and upholds data protection and security policies. The officer also assists with backups/recovery, supports systems used by the call center and customer interfaces, conducts routine equipment maintenance, and recommends process/tool improvements.

How to Apply

  • Install/configure hardware, software, and network systems per IT standards.

  • Monitor and maintain systems, applications, and internal networks for continuity.

  • Provide second-level technical support (in-person/remote); troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues.

  • Assess and support security controls protecting systems, apps, and networks; ensure client data safety.

  • Support call center/customer-facing systems to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Assist with monitoring usage, data backups, and recovery procedures.

  • Enforce data protection and IT security policies; ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Recommend improvements to IT processes, tools, and technologies.

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, including electrical safety checks.

  • Maintain strong relationships with service providers and technical partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support/infrastructure (financial services/digital banking is an advantage).

Technical Skills

  • Clear understanding of Core Banking System (ICBS).

  • Database experience (preferably MySQL).

  • Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) are an added advantage.

  • Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities.

  • Understanding of IT security standards and data-protection principles.

Core Competencies

  • Effective verbal and written communication.

  • Organized, detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Integrity, discretion, and strong work ethic; customer-centric mindset.
