Inventory Controller job at Future Options Consulting Ltd

Future Options Consulting

Will be responsible for the management and movement of inventory within the warehouse and analyzing the market and Identify Trends; Accurately analyze the market and / or inventory viz; furniture desired versus furniture in stock, monthly and annual variances, provide variance analysis, suggest actions to the Company.

  • Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.

  • Advise user departments on stock levels

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory level, create monthly inventory reports accurately.

  • Ensure a steady supply of raw materials and subassemblies.

  • Coordinate with the logistic team for purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.

  • Record the in and out of the items, and label inventory items.

  • Liaise with the warehouse team on overall planning, organizing, management and reconciliation of stock, providing technical guidance to the warehouse team and reporting findings to the Finance Manager.

  • Analyzing the market and Identify Trends; Accurately analyze the market and / or inventory viz; furniture desired versus furniture in stock, monthly and annual variances, provide variance analysis, suggest actions to the Company.

  • Develop and implement daily and monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities.

  • Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor and / or Management

  • Good Communication and/or Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to build, lead and work with teams

  • Complete Tasks within Set Budgets, Timeframes and Standards

  • Ability to Learn and Acquire New and Relevant Skills

  • Ability to adhere to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures and policies

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Business Administration or Commerce majoring in Procurement/Supplies/Logistics Management or Transport and Logistics Management or Procurement, Finance, Business Administration, Business Studies, Accounting, Statistics, or related field from a recognized Institution.

  • Professional qualifications from awarding Institutes such as Supplies Management (ISM), Certified Institute of Procurement and Supplies (CIPS) and Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.


Details of experience

  • At least 3 Years of proven working experience as an Inventory Controller or in a related field.

  • Must be a computer literate with experience in CRM
