Job Description
The Consumer Protection Internship Program is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in protecting consumer interests. The intern will assist in handling consumer complaints, conducting investigations, preparing reports, and supporting awareness initiatives. The internship aims to build capacity in consumer protection law and advocacy, promoting fair business practices and informed consumer choices.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, recording, and following up on consumer complaints
Support investigations into unfair and misleading market practices
Help in conducting market surveillance and preparing compliance reports
Contribute to consumer awareness and education initiatives
Assist in reviewing consumer protection policies and legislation
Prepare internal documentation and case summaries
Perform other duties as assigned within the department

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized institution
Must be below 35 years of age
Should not have participated in previous CAK Internship or Young Professionals Programs
Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
Keen interest in consumer rights and advocacy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
