Job Description
Job Title: ICT Auditor (Fresher Jobs)
Organisation: PostBank Uganda Limited (PBU)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Supervisor IT Audit
The role holder will be responsible for evaluating and assessing PostBank’s information technology systems, processes, and controls to ensure that they comply with relevant regulatory, legal, and industry standards. The role also involves ensuring the systems operate effectively and efficiently, reporting findings, identifying deviations, and advising management on corrective or remedial actions.

How to Apply
Planning, supervising, and executing end-to-end Digital Financial Services audits and other ICT audits, including risk assessments, audit testing, and reporting.
Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagement for a variety of clients including testing controls over information security, systems change management, system development, and IT operations.
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout business processes.
Apply audit management and data analytics tools to plan, execute and report results for audit engagements.
Identify and communicate IT audit findings to senior management and clients
Prepare timely written and oral communications audit reports of high quality in content, style and clarity.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in conducting risk-based audits in the financial services industry.
Possession of technical knowledge in Core information system domains specifically Networks, Databases (Oracle and MS SQL),
Technical and operating knowledge of Power BI and/or Teammate Audit Systems is an added advantage
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good relationship management
Report Writing skills
Utmost professional integrity
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or a related field.
Full or partial completion of professional Certification in CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001, CISSP is added advantage
Business Behaviours
The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form in a professional manner is deemed essential.
Ability to demonstrate positive image and model PBU’s values and leadership behaviour.
Must be a person of impeccable integrity.
