Position Details
Job Title: Human Resources Officer (1 position)
Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Duty Station: Nalweyo, Kakumiro District
Job Purpose
To support the Human Resources function by implementing HR policies, promoting best practices, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and national labor laws.

How to Apply
Implement the company’s HR policies, procedures, and processes.
Support the HR Manager in recruitment, onboarding, and payroll preparation.
Manage staff welfare and maintain positive employee relations.
Compile performance appraisal data to inform training plans and HR reports.
Oversee leave management and ensure accurate records.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR reporting requirements.
Prepare and maintain HR documentation and a centralized filing system.
Assist the HR Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and seasonal HR performance reports.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
At least one (1) year of experience working in a busy Human Resource department.
Key Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of Uganda’s labor laws.
Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing work demands.
High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and tact.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
