Job Title: Human Resources Officer (Fresher Jobs)

The HR Officer is a full-time, in-country position based at Latitude offices in Kampala and reporting to the Managing Director.

How to Apply
The core responsibilities include:
Manage the recruitment process and hired recruitment firms for new candidates
Preparing payroll data and ensuring timely submission to payroll services.
Maintain accurate employee records both electronic and physical
Track and report on staff leave and attendance across all offices
Track and report on company assets including staff uniform, laptops, mobile phones.
Manage staff benefits program, monthly submission of staff communication allowance
Manage company nominated hospitals and hotels across all the regions, hotel reservations, tracking medical cover, authorizing treatment and general employee welfare.
Support in resolving employee grievances and conflicts in a fair and timely manner In addition to these responsibilities, all employees are encouraged to propose programs, strategies or experiments which they feel offer a promising avenue for improvements to the company or livelihoods of the farmers.
Bachelor’s degree from reputable university in related field
Prior experience in administrative, human resources, office management or secretarial skills
High degree of organization and communication skills
Fluent spoken and written English
Ability and willingness to learn on the job
Positive attitude and sense of humor
Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
