How to Apply

  • Coordinate shop floor recruitment, performance appraisals, confirmations, promotions, and manpower planning.

  • Support training programs, employee relations, and welfare initiatives to boost engagement and maintain discipline.

  • Manage daily staff attendance, shift schedules, leave records, and overtime ensuring accurate payroll data.

  • Collaborate with the Payroll Advisor to reconcile attendance reports, resolve discrepancies, and address absenteeism.

  • Enforce compliance with PPE, workplace safety standards, and plant HR policies through regular monitoring and awareness.

  • Handle employee inquiries, welfare concerns, and minor disciplinary issues at the plant.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports on attendance, manpower, and productivity for management review.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience within a manufacturing or plant-based environment.


Skills & Competencies

  • Practical experience with SAP HR modules and payroll processing is essential.

  • Strong understanding of Uganda labour laws and HR best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and record-keeping skills.

  • Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced plant setting.
