Job Description
The Housekeeper will play a vital role in ensuring guest rooms, suites, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. This position directly contributes to guest comfort, satisfaction, and the overall reputation of the hotel through meticulous attention to detail and consistent service excellence.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, apartments, bathrooms, and assigned public areas following established procedures.
- Replenish guest room amenities, linens, and supplies such as toiletries, tea/coffee, and drinking water.
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, and service areas as assigned.
- Handle linens, equipment, and cleaning materials with care and report any damaged or missing items.
- Greet guests courteously and respond to requests promptly while respecting guest privacy.
- Report lost and found items immediately to the housekeeping office.
- Observe health, safety, and security procedures and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping teams and other hotel departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
