Job Overview:
LAFAB Solutions is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service by managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and assisting guests with inquiries to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures using the hotel management system.
Handle room bookings via phone, email, and online platforms.
Process payments accurately through various methods (cash, card, mobile).
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and transport options.
Answer calls, respond to emails, and assist walk-in guests with professionalism and courtesy.
Address guest complaints or requests efficiently and escalate when necessary.
Maintain up-to-date records of reservations, guest details, and transactions.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Monitor guest satisfaction and support a welcoming front-desk atmosphere.
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Requirements:
Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and a positive, approachable attitude.
Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, Cloudbeds) is a plus.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and customer focus.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
