About the Role
Fabrication Systems Uganda is seeking a proactive and qualified Health & Safety Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with national health and safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct regular safety audits and comprehensive risk assessments.
Develop, implement, and enforce health & safety policies and procedures.
Lead staff training sessions and promote safety awareness at all levels.
Monitor and ensure compliance with local health and safety laws and industry standards.
Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
NEBOSH or IOSH certification is a strong advantage.

Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols and best practices.
Excellent communication, reporting, and training facilitation skills.
