Job Summary:
Roswell Women and Children’s Hospital, a leading center of excellence in Maternal and Child healthcare, is seeking a dynamic, compassionate and experienced Head of Nursing to provide leadership and oversight to our nursing department.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership to the nursing team to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Supervise, mentor, and appraise nursing staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines and the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) standards.
Plan and coordinate staff training, shift schedules and continuous professional development initiatives.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized institution.
Registration and valid practicing license with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC).
Minimum of 3 years of Nursing experience, with at least experience in a supervisory or managerial role as well.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
