Job Description
The Head of Academic Excellence will provide strategic leadership in enhancing academic quality across the Early Years, Primary, and Secondary sections. The role focuses on driving curriculum standards, improving learning outcomes, and ensuring consistent academic performance across the school.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee academic quality assurance across all school sections
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student performance and outcomes
- Monitor curriculum delivery in line with the Ugandan National Curriculum and international standards
- Support and mentor teaching staff to enhance instructional quality
- Analyze academic data and prepare performance reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and academic innovation
- Ensure alignment with international curricula such as IB, Cambridge, ACE, or similar
- Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and high performance
