Job Description
A leading Group Poultry Farm based in Kampala is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of the group. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and ensuring the overall financial health of the business.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the group.
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial policies.
- Monitor cash flow, control costs, and improve financial efficiency.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls.
- Financial modeling and capital structure
- Manage and structure group finance department
- Design financial systems
