Job Description
The Graduate Trainee Program will expose successful applicants to work-based training by working alongside senior professionals executing various scopes. Trainees will be assigned to work at various worksites across Uganda for 3 months, including activities in the oil and gas exploration districts and at the Kampala head office.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing QHSSE policies, procedures, and standards across operations
- Support workplace health and safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Participate in identifying hazards and reporting incidents or near misses
- Help ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in preparing QHSSE reports, documentation, and records
- Support training and awareness sessions on safety and environmental practices
- Work alongside senior staff during field operations in oil and gas locations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in safety and quality performance
- Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols
