Job Description
We are pleased to invite applications for the NSSF Internship Programme, offering university students an opportunity to gain meaningful exposure, develop practical skills, and experience the world of work within one of Uganda’s leading institutions.
Through this programme, NSSF continues its commitment to giving back to the community by nurturing young talent, igniting ambition, and connecting bright minds to meaningful learning opportunities. The internship programme provides students with a platform to apply their academic knowledge in a real work environment while learning from experienced professionals.
As an NSSF Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting various departmental functions, working alongside experienced professionals, and contributing to real organisational projects.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Support daily departmental operations and administrative tasks
- Assist in research, data collection, and report preparation
- Participate in ongoing projects and team assignments
- Apply academic knowledge to practical workplace tasks
- Collaborate with team members and contribute ideas
- Maintain proper documentation and records as required
- Adhere to organisational policies, procedures, and professional standards
- Participate in learning sessions, mentorship, and feedback activities

Internship Application Process:
- Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled at a recognised university or college.
- Application: All interested students must submit their application and correct credentials through the following link: CLICK HERE TO APPLY
- Applicants must attach a recommendation letter from their university clearly indicating the student’s name and student number, and a valid University Identity Card. Please attach these two documents as one combined document.
- Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email with details of when they will undertake the assessment.
- Closing Date: The deadline for online applications is March 27, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
- Successful candidates will undertake an internship from June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026.
