How to Apply
Offer technical support to Colleges in planning, budgeting and monitoring Gender responsive activities;
Assist the Principal Gender officer in mainstreaming Gender in Colleges;
Be responsible for the capacity building and training of GMD student peer trainers;
Collaborate with GMD student peer trainers to implement activities to reach out to fellow students;
Coordinate the implementation of the Makerere University Gender Policy at College Level;
Coordinate the implementation of the Policy and Regulations on sexual harassment at College level;
Assist the Principal Gender Officer in implementing Gender activities in the Colleges;
Perform any other related duties as assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.
Master’s Degree in gender studies, Development Studies or Human Rights;
An Honor’s Degree in Humanities (Gender option).
Experience
A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
Skills/Competences
Team building;
Computer literacy;
Ability to initiate change;
Knowledge of Gender and Development issues.
Age: Below 55 years
