Job Description
Reporting to the Administration Office, the Front Office Intern will be responsible for welcoming and directing visitors, managing telephone calls, and handling front desk operations. The role involves maintaining visitor records, coordinating office correspondence, and supporting administrative tasks. This internship provides practical experience in office management, customer service, and administrative support within a government office environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Receive and direct visitors to appropriate offices.
Handle incoming and outgoing calls courteously and professionally.
Maintain front office records, including visitor logs.
Manage correspondence and ensure timely delivery to respective offices.
Provide administrative support including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Support coordination of meetings and office appointments.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling office matters.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office applications).
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Ability to work well under supervision and in a team environment.
