Job Title: Front Desk Administrator (Fresher Jobs)

Job Location: Naalya, Wakiso, Uganda
Provide exceptional customer service, greet patients, visitors, and staff, and perform administrative tasks to ensure efficient hospital operations.
Main Objective: The Front Desk Administrator is the first point of contact for guests and customers that visit the Private healthcare facility. They are responsible for the smooth running and coordination of the front desk operations.

How to Apply
Responsibilities:
Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff.
Manage patient registration, admissions, and discharges.
Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
Answer and direct phone calls.
Respond to patient inquiries and concerns.
Provide wayfinding and directional assistance.
Process patient payments and billing.
Coordinate with clinic departments (e.g., CR, Nursing, Immunology etc).
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with healthcare team members.
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
Direct Clients to the appropriate Person and office as per the defined procedure.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material.
Provide basic and accurate information about the health facility in person and via phone/email.
Receive, register, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries/documents.
Receive, Register, sort the registration of patients clearly and efficiently.
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying etc.
Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
Provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in any related field
Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in managing a reception and customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience as a receptionist is also helpful.
Age: 23- 28years
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency (e.g., EMR systems).
Organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Compassion, empathy, and patience.
Medical terminology understanding (desired).
Work Environment:
Fast-paced clinic setting.
Frequent interactions with patients, families, and staff.
Sitting and standing for extended periods.
Exposure to confidential and sensitive information.
