Job Description
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse. The role involves ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods, maintaining a safe working environment, and contributing to warehouse productivity.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
1. Forklift Operation:
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials.
- Ensure accurate placement of goods in designated areas.
2. Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct pre-shift checks on the forklift.
- Report any issues or incidents.
3. Productivity:
- Meet productivity targets for loading/unloading.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
4. Communication:
- Coordinate with team members on tasks and priorities.
- Report any issues or concerns to supervisor.
