Job Description
The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of dining outlets, bar services, in-room dining, and banquet operations. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service delivery, and profitability. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a blend of strategic vision and operational excellence to support the hotel’s overall guest experience goals.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations across all outlets to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and manage F&B budgets, control costs, analyse profit and loss statements, and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design innovative menus reflecting quality, variety, and local flavour while meeting international standards.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule F&B staff, fostering teamwork and continuous performance improvement.
- Monitor guest feedback, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain consistently high service standards.
- Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and procurement to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations (including UNBS and KCCA standards).
- Develop and implement promotions, events, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility and increase footfall.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, costs, guest feedback, and team productivity for senior management.
