Job Description
As a Flutter Software Developer within the Partnerships and Digital Department (BetaLab), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, visually appealing mobile and web applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional applications, integrate backend services, and ensure seamless deployment. The role demands a self-starter who is up to date with the latest mobile development trends and capable of producing clean, efficient code while optimizing performance.
This position is ideal for developers with hands-on experience in Flutter and mobile/web development, who enjoy problem-solving, innovation, and delivering software solutions that enhance customer experience.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications using Flutter and Dart
Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality code
Write clean, scalable code and integrate third-party APIs and RESTful services
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
Create and maintain user and technical documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements
Enhance app performance and ensure responsiveness
Stay informed on emerging Flutter and mobile development technologies
Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy software using tools such as Azure DevOps
Participate in user feedback sessions and implement necessary changes
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Proven experience in Flutter development (mobile or web)
Minimum of two published apps on Play Store or App Store
Proficiency in Dart; knowledge of Kotlin, Java, or Swift is a plus
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
Experience with Firebase integration
Understanding of RDMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL is an added advantage
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaboration skills
