Job Description
The Flight Dispatcher & Flight Follower will exercise operational control and supervision of flights, ensuring safety and efficiency at all stages—pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight. Responsibilities include preparing and authorizing flight release documents, analyzing operational and meteorological conditions, monitoring flights in progress, re-routing when necessary, and maintaining detailed flight logs. The role also involves effective communication with pilots, air traffic control, maintenance, and other departments to mitigate risks, resolve irregular operations, and ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

How to Apply
Pre-Flight Duties
Develop, review, authorize, and issue flight release documents for scheduled and non-scheduled flights.
Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in releasing an aircraft in accordance with the Operational Flight Plan.
Analyze operational and meteorological conditions to determine safe and efficient fuel and route planning.
Communicate requirements with Load Control, Air Traffic Control, and Maintenance as necessary.
Provide pilots with comprehensive pre-flight briefings and updated operational information.
In-Flight Duties
Monitor progress of each flight from departure to destination, maintaining accurate flight logs.
Communicate operational changes, weather updates, or restrictions to the flight crew.
Re-route or re-dispatch flights when conditions require.
Implement and adhere to the company’s risk assessment program.
Support communication between maintenance, OCC, and flight crews.
Post-Flight Duties
Ensure Pilot-in-Command reports are submitted to the Chief Pilot (Line).
Maintain accurate records of OCC communications and flight dispatch logs.
Remain on duty until properly relieved.
Report safety hazards and operational incidents.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Computer literacy is mandatory.
Local or foreign Flight Dispatcher License is an added advantage.
Additional skills such as software engineering, data science, programming, technical writing, project management, or creative design are desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of scheduling and fleet operations.
Ability to respond quickly to operational changes.
Attention to detail and a high level of responsibility.
Delegation of Duties
In the absence of the Flight Dispatcher, an equally qualified Flight Dispatcher will be delegated to perform these duties.
