Job Description
The Finance Assistant will be a key member of the Lamwo and Palorinya team and will contribute towards the achievement of the field’s finance objectives. Under the direction of the Senior Finance Officer, the Finance Assistant maintains the cash books and is responsible for the accounts payable functions of the department.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare cash transaction vouchers
- Manage mobile money account and ensure timely payments
- Preparation of invoice journals in Integra
- Reconcile mobile money accounts and cash accounts
- Supports the Manager to review travel and program advances
- Prepares payment journals as a PBR user
- Supports the manager to compile projections for the field office
- Ensure IRC policies and procedures are respected in all the cash transactions
- Ensure control and use of office stationery.
- Work closely with Administration to raise hotel bookings for visitors to the field.
- Assist the Admin officer to maintain timesheets for all staff.
- Manages vendor payments
- Develop and maintain efficient filling system for the field office.
- Any other duties as assigned by the manager
