Job Description
The National Content Officer will be responsible for coordinating. implementing, and monitoring national content requirements for Avanti’s client in the oil and gas sector.
The role ensures compliance with Ugandan national content regulations through effective workforce localization, skills transfer, training coordination, and accurate reporting. The position serves as a key link between clients, regulators, and internal teams to support sustainable national workforce development.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of national content strategies
- Coordinate workforce localization and nationalization plans
- Track and analyze national vs expatriate workforce data
- Support recruitment aligned with national content requirements
- Coordinate training, mentorship, and skills transfer programs
- Prepare and submit national content reports
- Support expatriate role justification and transition planning.
- Act as a focal point for client advisory and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain accurate and auditable national content records.
- Identify compliance risks and propose practical solutions.
